At BSI UK, we understand these concerns and are committed to providing thoughtful, reliable, and discreet guardianship support for international students in the UK. In line with UK regulations, all overseas students enrolled in private boarding schools must have a UK-based educational guardian. A guardian acts as a responsible adult who can assist the student in case of emergencies, support communication with the school, and help manage everyday life in a new country.

Our guardians play a vital role in supporting international students throughout their time in the UK. From the moment of arrival, we ensure each student is welcomed, oriented, and fully equipped to settle into their new environment. We assist with practical matters such as setting up mobile phones, registering with a local GP, and organising travel or accommodation during school breaks. We act as a trusted link between the family and the school — attending meetings when needed, monitoring academic progress, and providing regular updates to parents. Above all, we remain available at all times to offer personal guidance, respond to student needs, and ensure peace of mind for families abroad.
With over 20 years of experience supporting students in UK boarding schools, the BSI UK team offers a calm, bilingual bridge between families, schools, and students. We are registered and fully compliant with UK child safeguarding policies. We are a multilingual team, and we pride ourselves on maintaining clear and timely communication with all parties. Our guardians remain in contact not only with the student and their family, but also with school staff and administration. We monitor academic performance and ensure parents are kept informed of any successes or difficulties.

School visits and parent-teacher meetings can be arranged upon request. 24/7 emergency support is always available.
