The Frances King School
The Frances King School was founded in 1973, and thanks to its ongoing commitment to excellence, it is now one of London’s leading language schools. Each year, the school welcomes up to 2,000 students from over 50 countries worldwide.
The main school building is situated near Gloucester Road underground station, just a few minutes’ walk from the famous Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History and Science Museums, and the beautiful Kensington Gardens and Kensington Palace. This area of London boasts a wealth of shops, cafés, and restaurants.
Frances King is a member of Quality English and IALC. The school is also accredited by The British Council and is a member of EnglishUK.

Standard General English (Morning Classes)
- For adults of all ages who want to achieve fluency and accuracy in everyday English.
- Develop the four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - by learning and practising language in real life situations, with a focus on listening and speaking.

Intensive General English
- This more intensive programme brings extra focus on taking part in communicative activities. Build vocabulary and your ability to operate in real life situations. Focus on international communication in English.
- Practise speaking and vocabulary with conversation and role-plays. Topics of interest are chosen for research, discussion, debate and task-based learning.
- 30 English lessons p/w (9 am - 3:30 pm)

Intensive with Business English
- For those who want to prepare to use English in the workplace, this more intensive programme combines a General English course, developing fluency and accuracy in everyday English, with a Business English course, focusing on the language and skills to use English as an international language at work.
